Dr. Jeffrey A. Kammer is an associate professor of ophthalmology at Vanderbilt Health, where he provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataracts and glaucoma. He treats a wide range of conditions, including cataract (both pediatric and adult), glaucoma, and glaucoma suspect–high pressure. Dr. Kammer performs cataract evaluations and surgery, including premium intraocular lens implants, and offers glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye exams, and Plaquenil monitoring.
Dr. Kammer is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed an internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital, a residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center, and a fellowship at Emory University. He sees patients at multiple Vanderbilt Eye Institute locations in Nashville, Franklin, and Lebanon.
