Dr. Jeffrey Guillmette

Dr. Jeffrey Guillmette is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. He provides comprehensive eye care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Dr. Guillmette has a special clinical interest in cataract surgery and performs both laser and surgical procedures to help patients preserve and restore their vision.

After earning his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Guillmette completed his internship at Ochsner and his residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University. He has been practicing medicine since 1992 and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2000. His patients appreciate his thoroughness and compassionate approach.
