About Me
Dr. Janet A. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and external diseases of the eye. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of anterior segment conditions, including cornea infections, inflammatory disorders, corneal dystrophies and degenerations, and issues affecting the eyelid and conjunctiva. Her surgical expertise encompasses cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, pterygium removal, and management of ocular surface neoplasia.
Dr. Lee earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she served as Chief Resident. She further advanced her training through a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the same institution. With years of clinical experience, she prioritizes clear communication with patients about their condition and the available treatment options.
