Dr. James Jachimowicz

Dr. James R. Jachimowicz is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been serving the Hernando County community for over 30 years. He provides comprehensive eye care with a commitment to understanding each patient's individual visual goals and delivering personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Jachimowicz completed his medical training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He then completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia. His dedication to long-term patient relationships has resulted in multigenerational care for many families in the area.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Jachimowicz enjoys the Florida lifestyle, spending time with his family, fishing, boating, and golfing. He also pursues woodworking, automotive repair, and home renovation projects.
