Dr. James Webster

Dr. Garrett Webster is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care, with a specialization in cataract surgery. He utilizes laser-assisted cataract surgery and premium lenses to optimize visual outcomes for patients. Recently, he and his team at Beaufort Memorial Hospital implanted the first Vivity IOL in Beaufort, demonstrating his commitment to adopting the newest technology available.

After completing his residency at one of the world's largest medical centers in Houston, Dr. Webster worked in a busy South Georgia practice before returning to Beaufort, where he grew up. He is also certified in LASIK surgery and manages other eye conditions including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Webster's approach combines advanced surgical skills with a focus on patient-centered care in the Beaufort community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys beekeeping and various outdoor pursuits.
