About Me
Dr. Jacqueline Fergerson is a board-certified ophthalmologist and owner of Cortland Eye Center. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed an internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse and residency training in ophthalmology at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Prior to taking ownership of the practice, she served as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Syracuse VA Medical Center.
Dr. Fergerson provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the Cortland area. She treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye. Her training and experience allow her to offer both medical and surgical treatments for these conditions.
As the lead physician at Cortland Eye Center, Dr. Fergerson works closely with a team of optometrists to ensure coordinated care for her patients. She is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
