Dr. Irfan Ansari

Dr. Irfan Ansari is an ophthalmologist at Frankfort Eye Center who focuses on vitreo-retinal conditions and comprehensive eye care. He has performed thousands of surgeries, treating conditions such as cataracts, retinal disorders, glaucoma, oculoplastic issues, and strabismus. Dr. Ansari is the only vitreo-retinal trained ophthalmologist in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Dr. Ansari completed his medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical School, followed by an internship and ophthalmology residency, and a vitreo-retinal fellowship at Drexel University. He is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has also been published in leading ophthalmology journals.
