About Me
Dr. Homer Chiang is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara. A Bay Area native, he brings a unique background in mechanical and aerospace engineering to his medical practice, which he applies to his meticulous approach to patient education and treatment. Dr. Chiang completed his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and then pursued an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at UT San Antonio. He further honed his skills through fellowship training at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford.
Dr. Chiang is dedicated to delivering compassionate and personalized care. He takes time to listen to each patient's concerns and provides thorough education about their eye conditions, empowering them to make informed decisions. His goal is to ensure every patient feels heard and well-informed about their eye health.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chiang enjoys ice hockey, cooking, travel, and aviation, reflecting his lifelong curiosity and passion for learning.
