About Me
Dr. Helen K. Li is an ophthalmologist who specializes in ocular oncology and vitreoretinal disease. She has extensive experience, having spent nearly 20 years at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she directed the retina service and established a fellowship program. She later founded the Community Retina Group in Houston.
At Houston Methodist Hospital, Dr. Li provides care for a range of vitreoretinal conditions and ocular tumors. She is board certified in ophthalmology and holds an academic appointment as Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. Her clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, macular disease, uveitis, ocular trauma, and treatments such as brachytherapy and laser therapy.
