About Me
Dr. Harris C. Sultan is a vitreoretinal surgeon with NJRetina, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex retinal conditions. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the University of Connecticut, earned his medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and then completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Blanton Eye Institute.
Dr. Sultan pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. He is committed to service and previously helped lead a student-run clinic for people experiencing homelessness. His research has been recognized with awards from The Retina Society and the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology, and he has presented at national retina meetings.
In clinic, Dr. Sultan works with patients to explain findings, review treatment options, and support vision-preserving care over time.
