About Me
Dr. Shih is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist who provides both surgical and medical care for a wide range of corneal and vision needs. Her work includes corneal transplantation—such as DMEK for Fuchs’ dystrophy—along with laser vision correction and cataract surgery.
She completed fellowship training in Cornea, Refractive, and External Diseases at Massachusetts Eye and Ear / Harvard Medical School, and she completed her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Southern California in the Los Angeles County Hospital medical system. Dr. Shih earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she received the J. Donald M. Gass Award for research and academic excellence.
Dr. Shih values careful listening and clear guidance so patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options. She also has a longstanding commitment to service, including volunteering with medical teams internationally and in community settings in the U.S.
