About Me
Dr. Glenn E. Bulan is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He provides comprehensive care for children's eye health, from routine eye exams to management of complex surgical cases including strabismus (eye misalignment) in both children and adults.
Dr. Bulan completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he received the Trustee Merit Scholarship and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University, followed by fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. Before joining Texas Eye Institute, Dr. Bulan was in academic practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, where he taught residents and medical students at Brown Medical School.
At Texas Eye Institute, Dr. Bulan sees patients at multiple locations in the Houston area, offering consultation for a wide range of pediatric eye conditions including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, and tear duct disorders, as well as adult strabismus.
