Dr. Faye Knoll

Dr. Faye Knoll is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, cornea and external diseases, and laser vision correction including LASIK and PRK. She began practicing in 2012 and is currently accepting new patients at SightMD New York. As a native Long Islander, she is dedicated to providing eye care to her community.

She earned her biology degree from Binghamton University and her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Knoll completed her ophthalmology residency at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Hospital and pursued further specialization with a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is active in ophthalmic research and has presented her work at national meetings.

Dr. Knoll is recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has been honored as an Exceptional Women in Medicine and Super Doctor. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Long Island Ophthalmological Society. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, bike riding, and spinning on her Peloton.
