Meet Dr. Fatemeh Rajaii
About Me
Dr. Fatemeh Rajaii is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Medicine. She specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid, orbital, and facial surgery, addressing a wide range of conditions for both children and adults. Her clinical expertise encompasses surgical treatment of eyelid malpositions, facial skin cancers, tear drainage issues, orbital tumors, and Thyroid Eye Disease.
Her research focuses on the effects of eyelid surgery on ocular surface disease and visual function, oculoplastic surgical techniques, and mechanisms underlying orbital disease. Dr. Rajaii completed her medical and doctoral degrees at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic, orbital and facial cosmetic surgery at the University of Michigan.
