About Me
Dr. Lisa Young Lin is an oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Wilmer Eye Institute who treats conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit, and tear drainage system in children and adults. Her clinical practice spans functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery, repair of traumatic lacerations and fractures, management of thyroid eye disease, and care for orbital tumors, inflammation, and malformations. She emphasizes collaborative, compassionate care and individualized surgical planning to restore comfort, function, and appearance.
Dr. Lin graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with dual degrees in biology and the history of science and medicine, then earned her MD and a Master of Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed ophthalmology residency and advanced American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellowship training at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. As an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins, she is active in education and multidisciplinary care.
