Dr. Erold Jean-Francois

Dr. Jean-Francois was inspired to pursue medicine by his grandmother, who served as a medicine woman in his community in Haiti. His interest in ophthalmology grew after witnessing his grandfather regain sight through cataract surgery, highlighting the transformative power of eye care. After several years in private practice, he joined Kaiser Permanente for its patient-centered, integrated healthcare approach.

In his ophthalmology practice, Dr. Jean-Francois combines compassion with advanced technology and surgical innovation to deliver optimal outcomes. His clinical focus encompasses comprehensive eye care, including complex cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, lens exchange, pterygium removal, corneal cross-linking, and various laser treatments.

He is fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole. Dr. Jean-Francois values serving the warm and diverse community of the Central Valley and participates in medical mission work abroad.
