Dr. Erin Gwen Sieck
Ophthalmology – Glaucoma Specialist
About Me
Dr. Erin G. Sieck is a glaucoma specialist who cares for adults with both common and complex eye disease. She welcomes referrals for uveitic and advanced glaucoma as well as challenging cataracts and anterior segment problems. Dr. Sieck takes time to explain each diagnosis in plain language, outlines both medical and surgical options, and partners with patients to choose a plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. As an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Washington University in St. Louis, she brings the latest evidence and surgical techniques into everyday care.
Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, complex anterior segment surgery, and the full spectrum of glaucoma procedures. She also has a research interest in uveitic glaucoma and surgical outcomes, and she works closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care when systemic conditions are involved. Patients describe her approach as thorough, empathetic, and highly organized—focused on preserving vision and quality of life.
