Dr. Eleonora (Nora) M. Lad is a board-certified retinal specialist and ophthalmologist who focuses on age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular diseases. She is deeply involved in clinical trials to advance new treatments for macular conditions, ensuring patients have access to cutting-edge therapies.
Her research aims to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for AMD, including studying neuroinflammation, visual function testing in dry AMD, and retinal imaging biomarkers for early disease detection.
