About Me
Dr. Anthony Mazzulla is an ophthalmologist specializing in retina and vitreous surgery at Ochsner Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and provides care for conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. His clinical practice includes medical and surgical treatments for a range of retinal disorders.
Dr. Mazzulla completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He joined Ochsner in 2008 and now serves as the section head of vitreoretinal surgery and director of the surgical vitreoretinal fellowship program. He is involved in clinical trials for advanced retinal treatments and has presented research at national conferences.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Mazzulla enjoys golfing, fishing, and jazz music, and spending time with his family.
