Dr. Derrick Huey

Dr. Derrick A. Huey is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care. His training includes serving as Chief Resident for Ocular Trauma Management at the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute, equipping him with specialized expertise in managing complex eye injuries. Dr. Huey is dedicated to delivering advanced ophthalmic care using the latest technology.

He completed his medical degree and internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston. Dr. Huey is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the South Carolina Medical Association, and he has been recognized for academic excellence with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
