Dr. Deepak Mangla

Dr. Deepak Mangla is a board-certified vitreo-retinal surgeon with extensive experience diagnosing and treating retinal disease. He cares for patients with conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, retinal detachment, macular holes, and retinal trauma, focusing on protecting vision and preserving long-term eye health.

He completed medical school at Albany Medical College, followed by residency training at Northwestern University. Dr. Mangla then pursued a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at Wolfe Eye Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa, where he performed over 1,000 surgeries. He has been involved in research and publications and applies that foundation to deliver evidence-based care. Outside of work, he enjoys time with friends and family, traveling, flying, sailing, and perfecting homemade pizza.
