Dr. David Switzer

Dr. David W. Switzer Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retina surgery, practicing in his hometown of Billings, Montana. He provides full-time medical and surgical care for conditions such as macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal vein and arterial occlusions, and diabetic retinopathy. His training in vitreoretinal surgery in New York City was of the highest academic caliber, but he finds his true calling in clinical practice, delivering eyesight-saving procedures.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Switzer focuses on raising his family with his wife and enjoys activities like skiing, hiking, and traveling. His passion for ophthalmology began in high school, inspired by his wife's father, and he is dedicated to combining advanced academic training with the joy of helping patients preserve their vision.
