Meet Dr. David R Hardten

Dr. David R. Hardten is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founding partner of Minnesota Eye Consultants, specializing in the treatment of corneal and external eye diseases, cataracts, and refractive surgery. He provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the cornea, anterior segment, and vision, including LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Hardten is known for taking a personal interest in his patients' vision concerns and working with them to find solutions that support their daily activities.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hardten is actively involved in research on LASIK, refractive surgery, cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and glaucoma management. He formerly served as director of the clinical research department at Minnesota Eye Consultants and has contributed extensively to the field through lectures and publications. He practices at multiple locations in the Minneapolis area and sees patients for a wide range of eye care needs.
