Meet Dr. David Neal Brown

Dr. David Brown is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and intraocular lens surgery. With over 20,000 cataract surgeries performed, he has particular expertise in refractive cataract surgery, specialty intraocular lens implants, and complex cataract surgery. Dr. Brown also has a strong interest in developing-world ophthalmology and global blindness prevention, having served as a consultant ophthalmologist at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya and teaching cataract surgery in over 25 countries.

Dr. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He serves as executive director and medical director of Great Lakes Surgery Center. His advanced training includes an ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a graduate diploma in Community Eye Health from University College London.
