About Me
Dr. David I. Silbert is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and oculoplastics. He provides care for children and adults with a range of eye conditions, including strabismus, amblyopia (lazy eye), tear drain obstruction, and other pediatric eye diseases. He also specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery, orbital surgery, and minimally invasive tear drainage procedures.
Dr. Silbert has extensive experience in clinical research, particularly in pediatric ophthalmology, dry eye, and tear drainage surgery. He founded the Kindersee program, which provides eye exams and treatment for disadvantaged children in Lancaster city schools. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
