About Me
Dr. Cyrus A. Golshani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained medical retina specialist with Virginia Retina Specialists. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of retinal diseases and focuses on preserving vision through thorough evaluation and evidence-based care.
His clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. In addition to caring for patients in private practice, he provides care for veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C., and contributes to medical education as an assistant clinical professor at several local universities.
Dr. Golshani earned a B.S. in Nutrition Science from the University of Georgia and received his M.D. from The George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a medical retina fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
