Dr. Cynthia Self

Cynthia A. Self, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship subspecialty training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. She received her medical training at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute, the University of Tennessee, and the Medical College of Georgia.

Her special areas of interest include cataract and cornea surgery, management of corneal diseases, diabetic eye care, and laser surgery. Dr. Self has served as past President of the Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, demonstrating her leadership in the field.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family, playing the piano, and camping. This combination of advanced training, clinical focus, and community involvement makes her a dedicated eye care specialist.
