Meet Dr. Clayton Blehm
About Me
Dr. Clayton G. Blehm is a board-certified ophthalmologist at North Georgia Eye Associates, providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Gainesville and Cornelia. His practice focuses on refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma, and other serious medical eye conditions. He was among the first in Georgia to perform laser cataract surgery and has taught this technique to surgeons nationwide.
Dr. Blehm graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern Adventist University and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School. He completed his internship at Baylor College of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas-Houston. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Blehm has led and participated in numerous research projects, presenting findings at national meetings and in published journal articles. He has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Atlanta Magazine Top Docs since 2019.
