Dr. Christopher Rapuano

Dr. Christopher Rapuano is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in corneal diseases and serves as Chief of the Wills Eye Cornea Service. He is also a Professor of Ophthalmology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. With over 250 peer-reviewed articles and several books, including the best-selling Wills Eye Manual, he is a leading authority in his field.

Dr. Rapuano specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of corneal conditions, including keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, and recurrent corneal erosions. He offers advanced surgical treatments such as corneal transplantation (PK, DSEK) and refractive surgery (PRK).
