Meet Dr. Christopher Richmond
About Me
Dr. Christopher Richmond is an ophthalmologist at the Georgia Eye Institute, providing comprehensive eye care. He received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and earned his doctorate at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Richmond completed a general surgery internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Prior to joining the institute, Dr. Richmond served as an officer and flight surgeon in the United States Navy, most recently as the Department Head of Ophthalmology at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Society of Military Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Richmond is board certified in ophthalmology and is currently accepting patients at the Savannah campus.
