About Me
Dr. Christian D. Nilson is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Logan, Utah since 2008. He specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma care, and he also performs oculoplastic procedures. Dr. Nilson is a staff member and provides surgical care at Logan Regional Hospital, Cache Valley Hospital, Franklin County Medical Center, and South Pointe Surgical Center.
Dr. Nilson completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, following a pre-residency glaucoma fellowship at the same institution. His training also included an ophthalmic pathology and research fellowship at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City. He has performed thousands of cataract, glaucoma, and oculoplastic procedures and stays current with the most advanced technologies in the field.
Dr. Nilson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the Utah Ophthalmology Society. He is dedicated to patient care and finds his greatest joy in taking care of his patients.
