Meet Dr. Chirag Ghanshyam Patel

Dr. Chirag Patel is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides care for a wide range of eye conditions. He has advanced training in glaucoma and is the only glaucoma fellowship-trained surgeon in the Wabash Valley. Dr. Patel is experienced in performing cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, intravitreal injections for macular degeneration, and laser procedures for conditions like glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Patel is a native of Terre Haute and returned to his hometown after completing his medical education and training. He earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

He is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care and is known for his high-volume surgical practice. Dr. Patel's clinical focus includes managing complex eye diseases and offering the latest surgical treatments to improve his patients' vision and eye health.
