About Me
Dr. Chang-Sup Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. At Pacific Eye Institute, he cares for patients across the Inland Empire with conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, retinal tears and detachments, epiretinal membranes, and macular holes. He also evaluates inherited retinal diseases and ocular inflammation, offering advanced diagnostics and thoughtful, step-by-step treatment plans.
Dr. Lee completed ophthalmology residency at the West Virginia University Eye Institute followed by a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the USC Roski Eye Institute in partnership with Retina-Vitreous Associates. He earned his medical degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lee has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national and international meetings. He is fluent in Korean and English and is committed to clear communication so every patient understands their options and feels confident in their care.
