About Me
Dr. Carolyn Graeber Mitchell is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric eye care and strabismus. She completed her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, training under a world-renowned specialist. Dr. Graeber is the owner and physician of Children's Eye Care of Northern Colorado, a practice she cofounded with her husband. This practice is the only one of its kind in Northern Colorado that is entirely focused on children's eye health.
Dr. Graeber enjoys working with young patients and believes in empowering parents with the knowledge and tools to support their children's vision and overall well-being. Prior to moving to Colorado, she served as an attending physician at Boston Children's Ophthalmology in New York and at Fromer Eye Centers in New York City. She has also held faculty positions at Harvard Medical School and New York Medical College.
Her expertise is recognized by her peers, and she has published research in prestigious journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology and the Journal of Glaucoma. Dr. Graeber is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
