About Me
Dr. Carl J. Senft is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Del Negro & Senft Eye Associates. He specializes in advanced cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and refractive surgery, with a focus on treating external eye diseases and performing corneal transplantation. Dr. Senft is an associate professor at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Senft completed his undergraduate degree at Duke University and earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at SUMMA Health System in Akron, Ohio, where he served as chief resident, and then pursued a cornea fellowship at Louisiana State University Eye Center. During his fellowship, he received a Fight For Sight grant to conduct research in corneal surgery and refractive surgery.
