About Me
Dr. Brandon Suedekum is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder and CEO of Summit Eye Surgeons. He brings extensive experience in eye care, with specialized training in cornea surgery from the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. His commitment to excellence is evident through his active involvement in medical research and contributions to ophthalmology literature.
Dr. Suedekum completed his ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University and an internal medicine internship at Fairview Hospital, affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Beyond clinical practice, he serves as a manuscript reviewer for the journal Cornea and has participated in educational panels at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Suedekum has provided health services in Mexico. In his personal time, he enjoys exploring Arizona's national parks with his family and is an accomplished jazz saxophonist who has performed and taught in Europe.
