Meet Dr. Benjamin Mathew

Dr. Benjamin Mathew is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba and completed his residency at the LSU Eye Center in New Orleans. Dr. Mathew further advanced his training with a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

His clinical expertise includes cataract surgery using advanced technology lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and surgical correction of strabismus (double vision) in both children and adults. Dr. Mathew also treats pediatric nasolacrimal duct disorders. He considers it a privilege to be an ophthalmologist and is dedicated to providing the most advanced surgical eye care, focusing on recommendations that meaningfully improve his patients' quality of life.
