Dr. Barry Malloy

Dr. Barry C. Malloy is a vitreo-retinal specialist at Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders. He has a particular interest in macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, offering both medical and surgical treatments. Dr. Malloy is experienced in performing intraocular injections and vitreoretinal surgery for conditions such as retinal detachment.

He completed his vitreo-retinal fellowship at Washington Hospital Center following his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Malloy has been practicing with Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania since 1996.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Malloy serves as Chief of the Ophthalmology Section at Reading Hospital–Tower Health and is on staff at Pennsylvania Eye & Ear Surgery Center. He maintains active memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists.
