Dr. Angela Barbera

Dr. Angela Au Barbera is a board-certified specialist in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous at Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania. She is a fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal surgeon who provides comprehensive care for retinal conditions, leveraging both private practice and academic hospital experience.

Dr. Barbera’s research and clinical work focus on diabetic retinopathy, retinal tumors, and telemedicine. She has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and is an active member of professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
