Dr. Austin Gerber

Dr. Austin L. Gerber is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery. He provides expert surgical and nonsurgical care for concerns involving the eyelids, eye socket, tear drainage system, and surrounding facial structures, with an emphasis on both functional restoration and natural-looking results.

A native of Syracuse, Indiana, Dr. Gerber is committed to bringing specialized care to northern Indiana communities. He completed two additional years of highly competitive ASOPRS fellowship training, which supports his work in eyelid and orbital cancer management, cosmetic eyelid surgery, lacrimal system reconstruction, facial trauma, and the management of thyroid eye disease. He also participates in research and education through publications and lectures on topics related to eyelid and orbital care.
