About Me
Dr. Lance Bodily is an ophthalmologist who completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with a chemistry minor at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with high honors and consistent placement on the President’s list. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was awarded a Copeland Research fellowship for dedicated laboratory study and received the Keverline Medical Student Award for excellence in ophthalmology.
He completed a combined medical and surgical internship followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Bodily then pursued advanced fellowship training in orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery through Ophthalmic Surgeons and Consultants of Ohio, Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bodily specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures of the face, with a focus on the eyelids, orbit, and tear duct system. His clinical interests include eyelid malpositions, eyelid and orbital cancers, blocked tear ducts, forehead and brow reconstruction and rejuvenation, orbital surgery for thyroid eye disease, and reconstruction after MOHs surgery for facial skin cancers. He is also experienced in surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques.
