About Me
Dr. Augustine J. Kellis is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon with over twenty-five years of experience. He provides comprehensive eye care, with expertise in advanced cataract surgery, eyelid procedures, and facial plastic surgery. Known for his exceptional medical and surgical expertise, Dr. Kellis takes a warm, personable approach to patient care.
Dr. Kellis earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, completed his ophthalmology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, and pursued a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery in Miami. He has performed tens of thousands of intraocular and eyelid procedures. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kellis serves as an assistant clinical professor and has held leadership roles including chief of Ophthalmology at University Hospital’s Geauga Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kellis is committed to community service, having founded the St. Michael’s Eye Program to provide free eye care to those in need.
