Dr. Asim Piracha

Dr. Asim Piracha is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Commonwealth Eye Surgery in Lexington, Kentucky. He serves as an associate professor at the University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology and the University of Louisville Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. His clinical expertise focuses on the cornea, refractive surgery, and anterior segment procedures, including cataract surgery and LASIK.

Dr. Piracha completed his medical education at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He pursued his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky, serving as Senior Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship at the University of Minnesota specializing in cornea, refractive, and anterior segment surgery. He is dedicated to improving his patients' quality of life through advanced eye care.
