Dr. Ashvani Dass

Dr. A. Bawa Dass is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Associated Retinal Consultants, serving patients in Livonia and Ypsilanti, Michigan. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

He completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued a vitreoretinal fellowship at Associated Retinal Consultants. Dr. Dass joined the practice in 1996 and currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University.

Dr. Dass has authored numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented at national and international meetings. He is actively involved in clinical research and holds memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and other professional organizations.
