About Me
Dr. Arden H. Wander is an ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the cornea and external eye. He serves as Director of the Cornea and External Disease Service at UC Health and holds the title of Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. Dr. Wander treats a broad spectrum of conditions, including dry eye syndrome, corneal infections, herpes simplex keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, and complications from contact lens use. He also manages ocular surface disorders and corneal inflammatory conditions.
Dr. Wander completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in ophthalmology at the same institution, followed by a fellowship in cornea and external disease at Louisiana State University. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Wander has contributed extensively to ophthalmic research, with published studies on dry eye therapies, herpetic eye disease, and corneal wound healing.
