About Me

Dr. Archna Johar is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and corneal disease. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active membership in the Cornea Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Johar brings extensive expertise in both medical and surgical eye care, with a focus on advanced corneal conditions and refractive surgery.

During her residency at a Level 1 trauma center and tertiary referral institute, Dr. Johar gained intensive experience managing complex ocular diseases and emergencies. She further honed her skills through a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Florida and the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Hospital, where she trained in the latest surgical technologies and taught advanced no-stitch cataract surgery to residents.

Dr. Johar provides consultation and surgical management for a wide range of conditions, including keratoconus, corneal disease, and cataracts. She offers small incision, no-stitch, no-needle cataract surgery with premium lens implants such as ReSTOR® and Crystalens®, and is skilled in LASIK and other refractive procedures. Patients can expect a thorough, compassionate approach that incorporates state-of-the-art techniques to achieve optimal visual outcomes.
