Dr. Anita Shukla

Dr. Anita Shukla is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on corneal diseases and refractive surgery. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center and a cornea fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Shukla is an Assistant in Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and serves on the staff of South Shore Hospital, Carney Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, and New England Eye Surgical Center.

Her clinical practice includes the treatment of cataracts, corneal conditions, and performing refractive surgery such as LASIK. Dr. Shukla is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and provides thorough, patient-centered eye care.
