Dr. Andrew Krouner

Dr. Andrew Krouner is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. His clinical interests include glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric eye care, and acute and emergency ophthalmic conditions. He brings extensive experience in managing both routine and urgent eye conditions with a calm and precise approach.

Known for his compassionate and thoughtful approach, Dr. Krouner takes time to listen to patients and their families, explaining diagnoses and treatment options in an easy-to-understand manner. He is guided by a philosophy that being a physician is a privilege, and he respects every patient interaction.

Dr. Krouner graduated cum laude from Harvard University and earned his medical degree from George Washington University. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, completing an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology training at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He later practiced in Pittsburgh and Albany before joining Precision Eye and Laser in the Hudson Valley. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmological Society.
