About Me
Andrew Clark, MD, PhD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal specialist. A Santa Clarita Valley native, he graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine University and went on to complete the combined USC–Caltech MD–PhD program, earning his medical degree and a doctorate in chemistry. He trained in ophthalmology at the Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center and completed vitreoretinal fellowship training with Retina-Vitreous Associates/Roski Eye Institute of USC.
Dr. Clark cares for a wide spectrum of medical and surgical retina conditions with an emphasis on clear communication and individualized plans. His clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachment repair, ocular trauma, and complex intraocular lens surgery. He has authored research in leading journals and presents his work at regional and national meetings. Fluent in medical Spanish, he is committed to improving access and outcomes for diverse patient communities while delivering steady, compassionate care in the exam room and the operating suite.
