About Me
Dr. Anaïs Carniciu is a board-certified, ASOPRS-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon and the founder of New York Eye & Face in Westchester County. Her practice focuses exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, orbit, brows, and midface, with an aesthetic that favors natural, balanced results. She offers the full spectrum of eyelid and brow procedures, advanced tear-duct and eyelid malposition repairs, skin cancer reconstruction, and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation with injectables and laser technology.
Dr. Carniciu graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College and earned her MD at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She completed ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by an ASOPRS fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the University of Michigan and Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery. An active educator and author of journal articles and textbook chapters, she serves on the teaching faculty at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
